Asking questions leads to new adventures.

Welcome

I love to ask questions. Leaning into those questions provides me with unimaginable possibilities. For new places, new learning, new adventures.

To explore the contrasts and colour of this planet, travel has led me to the tiniest of the world’s countries, Vatican City, and throughout Canada, as vast and diverse a country as any in the world. Ancient places, like the 2000 year-old Mayan cities of Belize to the futuristic sky scrapers of Hong Kong keep pushing me toward fresh discoveries.

Among those fresh discoveries some occur in the same place. Such as the aptly named New-Found-Land where wind and wilderness make it my favourite go-to.

Inevitably questions lead to new learning. A fascination with stories has led me to degrees in literature and social work. In the former, questions rise from reading. In the latter, questions come from listening, sometimes affecting the outcome of the story.

Simply being alive poses the questions that lead the adventures of life. Marriage, a daughter, a son, five grandsons. Hiking, gardening, looking at art, listening to music, every engaged moment makes an unanswerable wonder a new adventure.
